November 28—30, 2025December 5—7, 2025 All days from 10-16 You and your family are guaranteed a Christmas spirit when you visit Voergaard during the Christmas days. Here you will get beauty, cozy atmosphere, walk-around entertainment, delicious food and the opportunity to find a great gift and delicacies for Christmas days. Quite unusually, you can get to walk around the castle at your own pace and enjoy the beautiful salons and the creative and sumptuous decoration of Bjarne Als of the Bering House of Flowers. Bjarne Als himself will be present in the pop-up shop. You can also find new inspiration for your Christmas decorations at Bjarne's two daily inspiration demonstrations. In the Ridehallen and around the castle grounds you will find atmospheric stalls with both delights and the opportunity to do good Christmas shopping, eat your fill of delicious Christmas food or enjoy a glass of mulled wine and good apple slices. **Parking: ** Parking costs DKK 40 per car and is charged on arrival. You can pay with both cash and MobilePay. The money goes 50/50 to a local sports association's youth work and the preservation of Voergaard Castle. NOTE! Unfortunately, we do not have good conditions for wheelchairs and people with severe walking difficulties, as some of the pavement is medieval - and uneven. The castle has several stair runs.

Practical information

We look forward to welcoming you.
- Upon arrival you must check in. Look out for signs at the entrance: “Online check-in”. Although there may be queues, we do not expect long waits.
- Feel free to wear warm clothes, as the event takes place both outside and inside.
- Strollers and strollers are welcome, but unfortunately cannot be brought to the castle. However, it is possible to park the cars outside. Also bring a baby carrier. A changing area can be found in the Ridehallens toilet.
- Unfortunately, we do not have good conditions for wheelchairs, as there is a lot of medieval coating all around. The castle itself is on several floors and therefore you cannot get around with a wheelchair. In the Riding Hall, where there is a Christmas market, it is possible to get around by wheelchair. There is also a disabled toilet.
- Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash, but cannot be included in the castle and in the Riding Hall, as there is often crowding here.

The castle offers guided tours where you can delve into the history and hear about characters such as Stygge Krumpen, Ingeborg Skeel and the latest owner Count Ejnar Oberbech-Clausen, as well as the site's very special ghost stories. There is also the opportunity to explore the dungeon and enjoy local specialities in the shop's café.
