After the tour, you can take a walk around the moat, take a look in the old cellar under the castle or enjoy a relaxing moment in the castle cafe with a cup of coffee and a delicious cake while digesting the impressions of the day. Voergaard Castle also offers a shop where you can find local specialties, handicrafts and books about the castle's history.

**PRACTICAL INFORMATION: **

The tour includes several stair races and unfortunately it is not possible to bring wheelchairs, strollers or the like. There is a 200-metre walk from the shop to the castle on medieval, uneven pavement.

**Language: **

The tour is originally in Danish, but printed manuscripts are distributed as needed in German, English or French. Please note that the 1:45 p.m. tour is always in English.

It is not possible to enter the castle without a tour.

Please note that the tour starts exactly on time and we recommend that you arrive at Voergaard minimum 15 minutes in advance, as there must be time to check in and to walk the approximately 200 meters to the castle.

When you arrive in Voergaard, please check into our store, which is located in the big red building next to the parking area.

Before or after the tour you have the opportunity to enjoy a cup of coffee with cake in our café area by the shop.
