Evening tours in the dark

Are you ready for a spooky and exciting evening at Denmark's most beautiful Renaissance castle?
Then come to Voergaard Slot's evening tours, where you can hear the story of the historical and fabled Ingeborg Skeel as we walk around the darkness by candlelight. The tours are aimed at adults and older children. We do not recommend the tour for children under 12 years of age.
If you have already been on one of our day tours, you can safely join us on this tour, where we tell some other stories - with special focus on Ingeborg Skeel, who ruled at Voergaard from 1578 until her death in October 1604.
The tours take place only on October 15 - 17. Each evening there are two tours at 7pm and 7.30pm.
DURATION: 1 hour.
Practical information
When you arrive in Voergaard, please check into the shop at least 15 minutes before the start of the tour. The store is located in the large red barn building next to the parking area.
The tour starts and ends in the store.
Be prepared for the fact that it is very dark at Voergaard in the evening.
The pavement is uneven and travelling from the car to the castle can be challenging and therefore not suitable for people with walking difficulties or wheelchair users.

About Voergaard Slot
Voergaard Castle is a unique and well-preserved Renaissance castle where you as a visitor can feel the history. Here you can see special architecture and experience the priceless art treasures up close.
The castle offers guided tours where you can delve into the history and hear about characters such as Stygge Krumpen, Ingeborg Skeel and the latest owner Count Ejnar Oberbech-Clausen, as well as the site's very special ghost stories. There is also the opportunity to explore the dungeon and enjoy local specialities in the shop's café.
